Çelebi Ground Handling began providing service at İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) on 1 November 2009.
Commencing work at SAW with a new team numbering 227 people and a 200-unit machine park, Çelebi as usual focused its attentions on delivering absolutely top-notch service by calling in a team of 41 experienced people from its Atatürk, Bodrum, and Dalaman stations in order to take advantage of their experience while bringing its new personnel up to speed through intensive on-the-job training in all aspects of ground handling services.
Having received all of the authorizations and operational licenses required by government authorities, Çelebi commenced operations at İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport. The ÇGH SAW station serviced its first aircraft, a KLM Cargo B-747 flight KLM-0173 on 1 November 2009.
Putting its 50 years of experience and steady progress towards achieving perfection in both approach and quality to work at İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport in the best way possible, ÇGH continues to expand its customer portfolio even as it continues to carry out its successful operations.
