During the state visit of the Turkish delegation, ÇGH announced the successes it has earned back to back in India at a press conference jointly held with GMR, ÇGH's partner in Delhi, and attended by the ministers of transport of both countries. Organized at the Delhi Oberoi Hotel in New Delhi, the conference attracted a significant participation by the representatives of the local media and the Turkish media who were accompanying the delegation. At the press conference, Cenk Alpsoy, Country CEO for GMR Turkey, and Canan Çelebioğlu Tokgöz, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Çelebi Holding also gave speeches, as well as the two transport ministers. In her speech, Çelebioğlu Tokgöz underlined that India holds a special place within Çelebi's international investments, and added that Çelebi's investments at the New Delhi International Indira Gandhi and Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airports in 2009 and 2010 will be worth approximately USD 100 million in total. Çelebioğlu Tokgöz noted that Çelebi will be a major contributor to civil aviation in India with its state-of-the art equipment, world-class services, and particularly with the positive competitive environment it creates. After the press conference, the Minister of Transport Binali Yıldırım and the delegation accompanying him congratulated Çelebi Family on their achievements.
