ÇGH İstanbul Station successfully served Grozny-Avia Airlines that made its maiden flight from Grozny to İstanbul. Type YK-42 aircraft with the registration number RA-42379 and flight number ADISP9721 departed from Chechnya and landed at İstanbul Atatürk Airport. The ÇGH ATA Station officials welcomed the crew with flowers and Turkish delight, and also had the chance to watch live a brief show performed in front of the aircraft by Daymokh, the Chechen State Folk Dance Group of Children, and Vainakh, the State Folk Dance Group who were on board the plane.
The passengers included the Chechnya Minister of Culture and Tourism and the Mayor of Grozny as well as Emruddin Edilgreyev, the Deputy President of Chechnya. VIP and Olympic Air Service representatives who participated in the welcoming ceremony extended their thanks to Çelebi İstanbul team for the successful and smooth operation. Having taken off from İstanbul to return to Grozny with 119 passengers, Grozny-Avia Airlines increased the number of weekly flights to four from the second week, which started with two flights per week.
