Continuing their cooperation with ÇGH that has started at İstanbul Atatürk Airport in 1984, Lufthansa German Airlines once again chose Çelebi's services for its new flights to and from Bursa. ÇGH has been given services to Lufthansa at İstanbul Atatürk, İzmir Adnan Menderes and Ankara Esenboğa airports in Turkey; Hungary's Budapest Ferihegy International Airport as of 2006 and India's Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport as of 2009. This remarkable collaboration that has been carried out with mutual trust and understanding since its inception, had gained new strength with Çelebi starting to provide passenger services and ticket sales to Lufthansa on April 1, 2010, in addition to ramp services. Bursa flights that followed consolidated the two companies' 15 years of cooperation. Lufthansa's A319 aircraft landed on Bursa Airport on August 2 at 01:10 A.M. with 130 passengers. Mayor of Bursa, General Directorate of State Airports Authority Field Manager, Lufthansa and ÇGH officials greeted the flight crew and passengers. Following its tradition for first flights, ÇGH staff presented flowers to the flight crew. A symbolic ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the plane's front door, while Çelebi employees gave their first full-handling service to Lufthansa in Bursa. Moreover, Marigold Hotel organized a cocktail party at the apron to celebrate the new cooperation, attended by officials and journalists from Bursa, as well as officials from Lufthansa including Dubai General Manager and Airport Services Manager Juergen Marske, Eastern Mediterranean, North Africa and Malta Manager of Airport and Ground Services Dirk Lorenzen, ÇGH İstanbul Station Assistant Manager Umut Yüzer, Operations Manager Ozan Dursun, Manager of Customer Relations Bilgi Bayram and ÇGH Bursa Station Chief Cenger Altan.
